
The CTFI National Technical Course took place on Feb 8, 2025, in Port Coquitlam, BC, hosted by the Pacific Rim Institute of Taekwon-Do. This highly successful event welcomed over 105 participants from across British Columbia, Alberta, and Saskatchewan, bringing together practitioners eager to expand their technical knowledge and skills.
The course was conducted by two highly respected Grandmasters:
• Grandmaster Pierre Laquerre, CTFI Technical Director and Member of the ITF Technical Committee
• Grandmaster Clint Norman, President of the CTFI and Senior Vice President of the ITF
Participants engaged in intensive training focused on patterns, sparring, and self-defense, gaining valuable insights into ITF technical standards and applications. The course provided an excellent opportunity for students and instructors alike to refine their techniques under expert guidance.
Masters Class & Master Grading – Feb 9, 2025
On Feb9th, a Masters Class was held, followed by an official Master Grading. This momentous occasion celebrated the promotion of several dedicated Taekwon-Do practitioners to the prestigious rank of Master.
